Real Time Location System
Biocontrol Real Time Locating Systems (RTLS) enables the user to track items and receive data from the tracked items in real time with accuracy up to 15 cm inside or outside of a building. Wireless RTLS Tags are attached to objects or animals, and fixed anchors receive radio signals from Tags to determine their location. The system is based on UWB (Ultra-Wideband) technology compliant with IEEE 802.15.4-2011. Both tags and fixed receivers (Anchors), are closed in IP67 rated enclosures. The system includes software for tag tracking, data processing, planning, configuration tools for system installation and tags management.

Integration with CRFI
To show the potential of RTLS analysis possibilities we have integrated it with our Controlling and Recording Feed Intake system. With joined databases and systems, the analysis of animal behaviour has been made a lot easier.
Some of the example tools we have prepared for you:
- Real-time location of name inside CRFI application with animal ID number or name,
- Heatmap for an animal during a specific date or period,
- Analysis of time spent inside a specified activity-related area (sleeping, walking, eating, milking)
- Daily statistics of animal activities, for example time spent walking, distance walked, time spent resting,
- Automatic gate opening if animal is near the manger, but photocell is dirty or broken.
