CRFI Water
BioControl’s water intake recording system is a part of the Controlling and Recording Feed Intake (CRFI) environment. At the water unit, animals are identified by neck transponders or ear tags, and the purpose of the system is to record the animals’ water intake and drinking patterns.
When the animal enters the water unit and is identified, recording of the visit is started. When the animal stops drinking and leaves the unit, the visit is registered along with the water consumption and water visit time.
